2008 Olympic Teddy Bear Challenge ( 3-June-2008)
I have been selected to represent Norway in the 2008 Olympic Teddy Bear Challenge. Teddy Bears helping real bears. Proceeds from the 2008 TBOC competition will be donated to the Asian Moon Bear Rescue Fund in China ( Animals Asia ) Competition is being held by TWTBA Taiwan Teddy Bear Association.

Teddy Bears With A Cause XPRESS Published: October 01, 2007 Marianne Loyd is a woman on a mission to raise ‘teddy bear awareness’ around the world. With her growing collection of sequined stuffed teddy bears, Loyd wants to call attention to bear issues like fighting-bears in Pakistan, torture in Japanese bear parks, bear hunting, bears in the circus, bear farming, bile extraction, use of body parts and dancing bears. The Norwegian author and teddy bear artist has been making stuffed bears for over ten years.
